Katia is deeply passionate about future skills. She’s driven by a mission to make a lasting impact in the Middle East by equipping young generations with the necessary skills and tools they need to thrive in a fast-evolving world. She believes that, alongside traditional education, nurturing a heart and “life skills” is paramount. Born to Finnish-Iraqi parents, Katia is bi-lingual and bi-cultural, offering her a unique perspective and deep understanding of both the Middle East and Finnish markets. Her diverse career spans education, technology, and complex systems with over 20 years in leadership, strategy, and business development roles. She has held important positions in multinational companies, started two businesses, and is a trusted advisor to various government and private institutions in Finland and the Middle East.
In her free time, Katia enjoys sports, loves exploring new cuisines, and hopes to learn French to delve deeper into its culinary traditions.
