1.     Playing prepares for the future of work

Play teaches kids about social, interpersonal and problem solving skills. It increases creativity and resilience – all these being skills considered to be key players in the future of work.

2.     Playing shapes brains

Play is necessary for children to increase their intelligence in many ways: play, especially pretend-play, teaches kids language skills. Playing has direct results in brain development by speeding up the creation of new of synapses.

3.     Play is universal

Playing can happen everywhere: at home, in the park, at school. Playing makes learning truly universal and an equal opportunity for all, no matter what are the surroundings or the economic background.

4.     Fun makes learning easier

Learning is more effective when stress levels are low and fun-levels are high. Fun simply makes learning a more memorable experience!

5.     Play mimics real life

When children engage in play, they must solve unpredictable situations which require creative problem-solving skills. In this way, playing mimics real world much better than beforehand prepared exercise. This is necessary for children to learn skills needed to build up their identity and become full members of society.
